We are a highly innovative private British mineral exploration company focussed on the sustainable extraction of lithium and other battery metals in the historically significant mining district of Cornwall, UK. Metals such as lithium are the key enablers of the transition to clean energy given their role in power storage batteries making such metals vital components of the future UK economy. The Company has secured extensive mineral rights agreements across more than 500km2 of Cornwall, enabling us to use modern exploration techniques on a regional basis.

The use of modern digital computer technology has enabled the Company to combine large historical datasets with satellite and other geophysical data to allow the reinterpretation of mineral potential in the light of modern extraction technologies. Cornish Lithium is proud to have been selected to participate in a number of UK Government grant funded projects including the “Li4UK Project” which was awarded funding from the prestigious Faraday Challenge fund as part of a tripartite study into the possibility of establishing a lithium processing facility in the UK.
