Tom Heap and the Countryfile crew visited us for filming on the 13th of August. Our CEO, Jeremy Wrathall and Senior Geologist, Lucy Crane were interviewed about our pioneering exploration techniques and use of digital technology to re-evaluate Cornwall’s mineral potential as the UK seeks a domestic supply of lithium for use in electric vehicle and power storage batteries. We also discussed the recent funding that Cornish Lithium has received from the UK Government’s Getting Building Fund to build a pilot plant for the extraction of lithium from geothermal waters at United Downs in Cornwall, in collaboration with Geothermal Engineering Ltd.
